Am I a good candidate for Latisse®?
People who would like to improve the appearance of their eyelashes may be a good fit for Latisse®. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding and people who suffer from severe allergies are not a good fit for Latisse®.
How many treatments are needed?
Multiple treatments are needed to maintain the results of Latisse®. The first step to starting Latisse® treatments is to set up a consultation with Dr. Talbott. If you are approved for a prescription, Dr. Talbott will show you how to apply Latisse®, and send you home with the product so that you can self-administer daily treatments. Once you’ve achieved the results you want, you may choose to maintain your results by using Latisse® every other day instead of every day.
Are there any side effects?
Latisse® should only be applied to the base of the upper lashes in order to avoid unwanted side effects. Latisse® should not be applied to the bottom lashes. Possible side effects of Latisse® include permanent darkening of the iris, eyelid skin darkening, and itchy and red eyes.
Are the results permanent?
The results of Latisse® are long-lasting but not permanent. Your lashes will gradually return to their original appearance if you stop using Latisse®.
